When I was in PV I was drinking cheap Mexican white rum, 56 pesos for one litre, mixed with Squirt, a Mexican grapefruit pop similar to Fresca. It was damn good.

Seriously though, I too prefer dark rum on the rocks. But this rum was cheap cheap cheap but tasted awful until I was told to use Squirt for mix. Nothing beats an afternoon rum buzz in the tropics, especially if it doesn't cost much.

All I've got in the cupboard is Old J, a British dark spiced rum and Black Heart, another Dark spiced rum with a hint of cherry taste.
