Excellent point and one that I've noted as well.

I would also add that most of the times that it's happened to me I get asked to login when in fact I'm already logged in to the forums which I would think should somehow cover the classifieds as well since it's the same login information.

Castanet Classifieds are THE BEST!

A few improvements I would like to see:

- Instead of searching by "Kelowna", "Vernon" or "Penticton", add a button that lets you view "All Cities"

- For the real estate section, show which day the ad was posted on the front scroll page (I know it says in the actual ad), just like all the other categories

- Add the capability to have user stay "logged in"; it is annoying to have to log in if you want to PM/Reply to an ad, and then have it take you back to the Main page. (this may be a personal computer setting)

Thank you, and good work Castanet!

I agree with this one. It's kind of annoying that most people in Vernon submit their ads in the Kelowna section. I wonder if an "all cities" option would reduce this trend...

How about some kind of form or set of prompts for setting up a vehicle ad?
I can't believe how many vehicles are posted without the most basic information:
Year
Make
Model
Mileage
Options
Price
And if you aren't going to post a picture:
Color

(ETA price. I could have used a prompt to make my request!!)

A services section for kids/babies would be good :)

Sorting options are needed within the real estate section.

If an item gets renewed could the views be reset to zero? When I see an ad with hundreds of views I assume it's because the person was too lazy to remove the ad after it was sold although that's not always the case.

Hi,
I would like to have the option to browse all three cities at once, instead of having to do three separate searches for each category that I'm interested in. I'd also like to be able to search for an item from the home page, or from 'all classifieds', instead of having to go to the particular categories first.
Thanks for a great site!

I've experienced this too - it would be nice if the login could be shared between browser tabs and also take you back to the page you were viewing once you log in.

Hi Troy
I have just posted and ad to sell original art, but it took me a while to find the category hidden within (what was it?) home improvement??? I think that "ART" would be a valid category on its own.
Thanks

"Housewares", "Art" At this time there are approx 300 items listed under 'Art'.
I think that is probably the biggest problem a newbie to the classifieds has, finding under what category a particular item is listed under.

I believe at one time we could look at let's say 'Fish' in Kelowna, click on Penticton or Vernon while in that section and that is where it would take you, to the 'Fish' section in those cities.
