Do you still use the bank?
For over 10 years now I've being doing business with "virtual" banks, only needed the ATM machine to do deposits and sometimes withdrawals, but most deposits are EFT and I pay my bills and transfer money from an account to another online.
For the past couple months, I don't even use the AtM anymore, I deposit cheques using my telephone. Now I wish I could do the same with money lol.
I haven't visited a bank in ages.
My question: Do you still use the bank counter, the atm or do you do everything online & using your cellphone?

The only time I go to the bank is to discuss our accounts and morgage

ATM for cash withdrawls, online for everything else. Most purchases are done with debit card.
My Wife asked me if I knew what her favorite flower was?

I prefer to deal with people. It has paid dividends in the past, where people have been able to help me immediately when I've had problems.
I don't mind the lineups either, I find they usually move fast enough. I get to chat with others who like to chat, sometimes moms with their kids, older folk or people with dogs.

I haven't failed until I quit.

Unfortunately not being known in your bank may not be the best idea.
There are certain applications you need a bank manager and believe me, it's much smoother when the manager knows you or of you or at least you're known by a teller, or two.
When we had Estate issues with my dads estate, it was a good thing I had a good rapport with management.
Same with Mr. QK when it came to a Trust account for someone. Same thing, he had been to his bank, they knew him, things went smoothly.

As WW3 develops, no one is going to be dissing the "preppers." What have you done?

Make up a lie that I'm not allowed within 20 feet from minors by court order when they ring my door. They usually drop whatever in their hands and run away screaming.
