Am I going to die in September?

Post by Glacier »

In April NAB brought it out attention that Jim Flaherty had diedwhile Grammafreddy brought it to our attention that John Pinette had died.

The very next month both of these esteemed posters passed from this world.

With that in mind, I'm kind of regretting that I was bearer of bad news over Robin Williams (may he rest in peace).

Doubt it. Gordon H posted at least 4 - James Garner (July 20), Wolfman Jack (June 15), Knowlton Nash (May 24), and Bob Hoskins (April 30) and he's still among us.

When a person dies is not as important as how he lives.

OneHbabe, GordH changed his name several times. This is because he died and reincarnated. He used to be a HockeyFan of some kind. Can't remember his other names.

Kgcayenne, I've only ridden to work twice this year. I only like to play Russian roulette a limited number of times per year. In truth, I'm getting a little more used to the traffic, but there is one section of blind corners with no shoulder can be a bit hairy. I just close my eyes and pray as I ride that section.

Nibs, grandparents used to say that when you die is important too. Living until your mid-90s as they did sucks because when your time comes all your friends are already dead, and no one is left to dig your grave.

Norma, you can have my debts. Some of them are quite fancy and very nice. I will update my will tomorrow.

Once you're dead you don't care, but for some people still alive, they seem pretty concerned about getting recognition after they die. Such as...

According to a news website, I'm already dead. Except it wasn't me.

Same name, same age, same province. Good thing they had a picture with it, my family would have freaked out, and I actually reported the said event on the Castanet forums the day it happened, without even knowing the victim's name at the time.
