Earworms

Post by flamingfingers »

You know what they are - songs that creep up on you and plague you for hours, if not days.. You try to banish them after they have pestered you and run over and over and over again in your brain....

Some are actually kinda fun to have around for a WHILE:

Afternoon Delight

Others are amusing for a While, but:

Don’t worry, be happy.

Others need to be treated with ECT or overindulgence in a habit forming substance:

If you want it…

Then there are some that make you wonder why you listened to them in the first place:

I refuse to click on those links!
Don't take my silence to mean I've agreed with you; I easily could've just lost interest in explaining how wrong you are.

Don't - I haven't got Little Arrows out of my head since I bought the 45 back in the '60's.

Another one courtesy of the Christmas Ha Ha thread - Santa Baby (thanks coffeeFreak lol)

Funny how you can hear this song as a child, and then hear it 20 years later, and finally understand what it's about!

Here is another earworm... Ba-ba-babara anne... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vPRonG87eKw

Those are all catchy, entertaining songs! I personally did not understand how evil earworms could be until children came along. Now I wish ill upon the Moblees and Napkin Man.
