What is it with people's avatars these days?

Post by Glacier »

This is a PSA for any new forum members who have not yet picked their avatars.

In the old days people picked their profile pictures from a list of things they like or perhaps a picture of themself. Today things have changed. The new way of doing things is to pick an avatar of someone you despise with a passion. For example, the Green Barbarian has Thomas Mulcair, Rwede has Adrien Dix, Flamingfingers has Christy Clark, Logicalview has Justin Trudeau, Logitack has Stephen Harper, Captain Awesome has Homer Simpson, etc.

Mine for most part are either sports team &/or sports event, my current one is for WJC.
I don't give a damn whether people/posters like me or dislike me, I'm not on earth to win any popularity contests.

You used to have a black panther, what happened?
As WW3 develops, no one is going to be dissing the "preppers." What have you done?

Exactly what are you complaining about? I change my avatar often in case you didn't notice. Why don't you change yours?

(some) People on Castanet seem to chose to define themselves with what they dislike.

The worse the avatar, the higher quality of the posting is the general rule.

I have no problem with people changing avatars and I will protect mine if I find it again. Grammafreddy changed hers but still liked any with the rolling pin.

Fancy if you like this one then right click on it and select save as and save it to your computer.
It is all ready sized for an avatar for you.
