Daylight saving time, it's baaaaaack!

Post by bob vernon »

Daylight saving time begins this weekend. Officially Sunday at 2:00 am. Is this time change of any use, or is it all just a leftist plot to wear down those of us who still work for a living? I blame Trudeau, senior and junior, the NDP, Greens, Muslims, Hell's Angels, and anti-pipeliners.

I never get why people get so up tight about this subject, just like I don't get those adults who can never remember if its "Spring Ahead" or "Fall Back" ... even though they've done it twice a year, every year of their life.
Nobody wants to hear your opinion. They just want to hear their own opinion coming out of your mouth.

The whole time change needs to be abolish, its time has come & gone.

Quick search brought up at least half a dozen threads on this topic (which I think is kinda funny). Personally, I don't care and will adapt but I'm wondering how my pooch will take it (better not let me sleep in lol).

Farmers have been doing fine without the switch for centuries.
The true business of people should be to go back to
school and think about whatever it was they were
thinking about before somebody came along and told
them they had to earn a living.

I like it. It helps give spring a little boost for me.

I like it in the fall too. It's like getting tucked in for a long winter sleep.

When I was in Regina doing my six months of federal time, the lack of time change during felt very strange. Dark until 8:30am.

If they abolish it i'd like to see it stay on DST. But I think it would be ST. No more 9pm sunsets in the summer....

I agree. Is it really worth bitching about? Its just an hour. Change the clock and get on with your life.

some people lead very simple lives, and the time change can be traumatic.

Wife read it takes six weeks to get accustomed to the time change. I say, not if you worked shifts for many years.

Well yes I guess if people sit there and complain about it everyday, I suppose 6 weeks. I don't even notice it.
