Boobies! OMG, c'mon people - really?

Post by Swoop »

...it's a painting from 1935 - depicting a woman with partially exposed breasts - and we need to ask others if it should be censored from school field trips?...no wonder society is so hung up on appearances - just look at the fiasco around breast feeding in public...I would wager to guess no one would have batted an eye if such a big stink wasn't made over it...

I just love the "I'm offended...CHANGE IT!" people.

If one actually reads the article, you will see that there is no controversy. The art gallery and the teachers worked together to ensure that no child was harmed by the sight of a painted boob. Keep on filing down the sharp edges and padding the walls.

The Venus de Milo has been around for over 2,000 years and is on public display at the Louvres Museum in Paris. Anyone died seeing her boobies? geeez.

Many men in this culture find breasts erotically arousing, why?
What is it about them that men find attractive?
