Bee hive
Has anyone had experience with a company or person willing to relocate a bee hive in a house?

Yikes! How big!? I would think the pest control place could handle removal. If it is not wasps but honey bees have you considered contact one of the local been keepers to see if they could assist in moving it?

Yes they are definitly bees. We killed the wasps that nested there but the bees took it over before we could finish cleanup and sealing the space. I have no idea how large the hive is. There was just one bee, probably the queen but now there are at most 7 at one time near the entrance in the evenings. No idea total size or count. I am very reluctant to kill them so I was hoping for relocation if someone out there does that.

I don't think any aviarist would be interested in removing it for you at a reasonable cost. Kill them and vacuum up the remains.

Uhg, Just stop and leave.
Hello OP.
I am a beekeeper and would love to remove your bees at zero cost as long as I can keep the bees. I am currently out of town until the 10th of the month. If you cant wait I can arrange for a friend to remove your bees.
Curious as to where are the bees located "in the house". Chimney, under the deck, in the exterior wall...?
Anyways thanks for posting and PM me if you wish. Please do not kill the bees!

Re: Bee hive
^^ NICE. Take him up on the offer!
I don't think it's technically feasible to relocate a hive without the queen and bees trapped inside. Generally if you move an empty hive the queen abandons it anyway. For 7 bees, I'd take matters into my own hands. Remove the hive and bees, then immediately seal up the area so they're forced to re-establish in a new area. Early in the year when the hive is young is the ideal time to relocate them like that.

The post referred to 7 being seen at the entrance, not that 7 was the total. The same post said that they had no idea how many are in the hive.
