Outdoor engagement photos..in April?

Hi All!

I'm having my engagement photos done in April, unfortunately the only time that works for us. Any interesting outdoor spots that aren't super BLAH looking in April? Photog suggested the trestles. I saw the Lavender farm is nearby, but will be pretty barren still at that time.

So, any other suggestions? TIA!
