We received a letter in the mail yesterday with our name and address on it. Inside we were told we were in line to inherit 3 million U.S.$.
The letter was from someone in England, with lots of spelling mistakes and capitals in the middle of sentences. We have no relatives in England and if they did live in England why would the inheritance be in U.S. funds and not Euros?
The paper and ink are cheap. Don’t fall for it. It has been bulk mailed in Canada.
I thought the letter writer was quite astute, noticing that an inheritance from England was going to be paid in US Funds, but lost my appreciation for their "astuteness" when the writer suggested the payment should have been in Euros.
