Whats Everybody Doing This Long Wknd ??

We do alot of camping so long weekend crowds offer the perfect excuse just to enjoy home for a change of pace.

In my mind, I will be doing all those wonderful things mentioned above, except the roofing / poison ivy stuff but like Queen K.... working.

Made the trip to the lake, the water is great.

Couldn't get over how warm that wind was today--still is. About as refreshing as an oven door being opened in your face.

Was perfect for hanging out in the shade with a good book and cold beverage.

Roof is DONE My workers (ie: family, including inlaws) worked their butts off, as did I. The only breaks I took were to take daughter out to buy shoes (we found some, the whole experience was just painful though) and cook a feast for them. Grilled zuchinni I had just picked, fresh picked cherry tomatoes (sweet millions, sun sugar and sun gold), potato salad (costco) and bbq ribs. Them I picked Himrod and Canadice grapes for dessert.

So now I can chill for the rest of the weekend. Though hubby's gram is in hospital again, I should visit her.

We had intended a trip to lake to clean up and close down, but poop happens. Just as well as smoke is awful today.
