I strongly advise drone owners to follow this tip very closely
Respect the privacy of others. Avoid flying over private property or taking photos or videos without permission.

I don't give a damn whether people/posters like me or dislike me, I'm not on earth to win any popularity contests.

Marbles are great for close range practice. Steel ball bearings are better for longer range targets but, it's still one shot at a time.
A 12 gauge, 3" magnum, with SSGs, has both distance and maximum impact characteristics. They are legal and readily available.

The definition of "OKAY" is obligatory on which side of the fence you are on.
It has nothing to do with “definitions”. If you need definitions to help decide what’s right and wrong with this whole scenario then discussing it is pointless. Quite frankly I think the stomping response is more than just a bit of an exaggeration, but the “it’s my right” viewpoint of openly destroying someone else’s property just because you can is everything that’s wrong in the world today - and on no better display on a regular basis than in Kelowna, and in these forums in particular. The attitudes of some on here never cease to amaze me.

I have to agree - just because you can doesn't make it right. Never ceases to amaze me what people will do just to make a point. Why anyone thinks invading someone's privacy is okay is puzzling.

You must be one hell of a clairvoyant to be able to make these sort of statements. Maybe it simply became low on battery power and malfunctioned flying off course during what was an otherwise perfectly legal and innocuous use. Of course, that wouldn't make for much of a defense for your line of thinking - or actions.

Re: Current Drone Activity
anyone else notice the fairly large drone rising straight up and hovering sometimes around 150' and sometimes much higher, like maybe 1000", near knox mountain, maybe in line with ellis or st. paul.? been going on for about an hour now.
I'm not worried what I say, if they see it now or they see it later, I said it. If you don't know maybe that would hurt you, I don't know. You should know though, so you don't get hurt, so you know what side to be on when it happens.
