Winter Storm Warnings on Highways Headline News?

Postby Kelowna_Born » Dec 18th, 2018, 10:27 am

Love Castanet, but come on reporters. Enough is enough! Everyday I wake up to "ITS SNOWING ON THE COQUIHALLA" If its not Winter Tires October 1st being blasted at me for 4 weeks, its the mountains got 1cm of snow. OHHHH NOOO the humanity!

I'm sure everyone knows its snowing on that certain BC highway @ 1244M or 4081Ft and to check BC Highway Closures themselves before even stepping outside.

Come on Castanet! I love you, but I'm sorry, its going to be a Green Christmas, heck maybe even a Green January. The weather is NOT news. Snow is NOT news. WE LIVE IN THE GREAT WHITE NORTH!.....CANADA BABY!

Really? Given the increase in holiday traffic at this time of year and the fact in excess of a foot of snow is expected yes, the warnings are news worthy.

Last week the alarmism didn't just end with the media. Fortis even go into the action by telling their customers that power could be out from the winds even though the wind forecast was not all that strong.
