Gas theft
A big shout out to the individual who siphoned the full tank of gas from my son’s truck at the Okanagan College parking lot the other night. As if going to school and working at a minimum wage retail job wasn’t a big enough challenge already.

That only slows them down. Worked at a place where they busted the locking caps off and got the fuel. Plus if they can’t get off the cap maybe they will drill it.

Not sure if they are still sold, there was a lock that fit down throat of filler pipe.
Harder to just pop off the lock.
Added: desperate theft will just take screwdriver to gas tank.
I don't give a damn whether people/posters like me or dislike me, I'm not on earth to win any popularity contests.

They might move to easier pickings when in a parking lot with other cars available.

Re: Gas theft
I told him to look for a locking gas cap but did read that they are easy to bust open. Parking with the fill side open to the road side and not in between parked cars might help. Running on fumes is his option right now.
