Although not a bug, believe it or not this is an actual 1 to 1 Macro, shot by me on film.

Then developed and printed in my darkroom (then a cell phone imagine of the print)

Very lovely photo! Dreamy and simple.

Queen K probably knows the answer to this.

Macro in its simplest definition, is something very close to the lens and the image hitting the sensor/film is nearly as big as the object photographed.

I speak Nikon, so: the 200mm f/4 Micro will focus on something 0.5m away producing an image that is life size, and the 200mm f/2 closest focus is 1.9m and reproduce 1/8th of life size.

I am so tempted to pick up a Raynox 250 and a focusing rail for focus stacking.

I can see it now:
Him: "Darling, what is in the little box in the fridge?"
Me: "It's a goldenrod crab spider and a daisy. I'm doing some portraits later."
"without knowledge, he multiplies mere words."

I like bats too.

Thank you for the compliment.

You pretty much nailed it, congratulations.
It was shot with an 8x10 camera with an 8 1/4 inch process lens, giving me a full 1 to 1 image.
In layman's terms the camera I used looks very much like this.

And the film I shoot is 8 inches by 10 inches.

BEAUTIFUL camera, stuphoto! There was a bellows camera in my grandma's stuff, and someone who doesn't even have an interest/background in photography snatched it up before I could ask the executor.

Thanks kgcayenne,
That is too bad. Since I tried large format photography I have trouble looking through a normal viewfinder.
It doesn't help that my eyesight isn't as good as it used to be.

If you care to try it just send me a pm.
