In the Crystal Cathedral's Farewell Service, Bobby Schuler (grandson of Robert Schuler) says: "in Luke Chapter 10 when Jesus says "Go out and don't take anything with you and you're going to have everything you need, he (Jesus) was teaching them you really don't need anything - you just need the Lord"

What do you think Bobby meant by that?

What? No one remembers Robert Schuler?

He was one of the better tv evangelists. Where guys like Jack van Impe were repulsive
to listen to, Schuler had different guests and was occasionally interesting. He seemed like a decent guy.

But I've heard even normal preachers say - several times - "Even if you're poor, as long as you have God, you have everything."
I've never seen a normal preacher in my life want to be poor. So I'm not quite sure what they mean when
they suggest it's okay to be poor, according to the bible as long as you have God.

I have watched Jack Van Impe and one of the reasons why he is not liked is that he exposes Schuler, Warren and others of the Emergence Church and the New Age message they are teaching. They use the Bible, mixed in with satanic new age teachings and in a huge honkytonk of a building (Mega Churches) with a fancy band and yes they will sellout and the money will flow.....
