Here is a part of Biblical history that we can see in today's world from way back 3500 years ago. At the time of Jacob.

The Stone of Destiny!

It's home is under the Coronation Chair where Kings and Queens of Ireland, Scotland and England have been crown. It is said to have been used in the crowning King David and all the way to today's Queen Elizabeth....

This Stone was used as a head rest/pillow when Jacob/Israel had his vision from God.

When Jacob awoke, he believed that God was present in that place. He took the stone he had been using to rest his head, poured oil on it and consecrated it to God. Then Jacob made a vow, saying,

"If God will be with me and will keep me in this way that I go, and will give me bread to eat and clothing to wear, so that I come again to my father's house in peace, then the LORD shall be my God, and this stone, which I have set up for a pillar, shall be God's house. And of all that you give me I will give a full tenth to you." (Genesis 28:20-22, ESV)

Jacob called the place Bethel, meaning "house of God."

Totally agree with you Glacier. Most all Churches don't even tell their congregation about the Stone of Destiny. Yes those Churches must be higher that the comic strip you provided. Thanks to the Church of England for keeping it safe.

You can follow the Stone of Destiny by all the Kings and Queens crowned on it. This list is from the time Tea Tephi (daughter of the last King of Judah Zedekiah) fled Judah via Egypt and made way to Ireland. The Stone was placed at Tara, the ancient sacred place in Ireland.

The Honours of Scotland

The great Edinburgh writer Sir Walter Scott was instrumental in the restoration of the castle and the Honours of Scotland.

The crown jewels of the nation are the second oldest in Europe after the Hungarian honours.

Incredibly they lay neglected and hidden for many years in an oak chest within the bowels of the castle.

This was until Scott discovered them in 1818 and campaigned for them to be displayed. The crown, sword and sceptre are still there today within the castle for visitors to admire.

But it was not until 1996 that the Stone of Destiny was returned to Scotland and put on display in Edinburgh Castle.

It was the ancient stone upon which Scottish Kings were crowned at the Palace of Scone in Fife back in ancient times.

It had been stolen as the spoils of war by King Edward the First in 1296 after an English invasion. It was actually stolen back in 1950 by some Scottish students before its return to England several months later.

Despite its official return to Scotland it will still be transported down to London and used for future Coronations whenever a new King or Queen takes the British throne at Westminster Abbey.

this is a good thread, there are many clues, if not answers, down this path.

the stone fits neatly into the coronation chair, like the chair was made for it. are there any other chairs like this? :)

The Coronation Chair was built by the British after it's capture from the Scots. Before that, all Kings from Ireland and Scotland since at least 700 BC were crowned while sitting on the Stone. It was one of a few artifacts brought to Ireland after the fall of the Israelite Kingdom of Judah by the Prophet Jeremiah. Other relics included the Harp of David and the Royal Red Lion Banner of Judah.

The Coronation Chair and the Stone of Scone

The Coronation Chair was made for King Edward I to enclose the famous Stone of Scone, which he brought from Scotland to the Abbey in 1296, where he placed it in the care of the Abbot of Westminster.

Side note:

The Scots in 1296 wrote the Pope complaining about the treatment of the Scots by the English in the very famous letter called The Declaration of Arbroath or it's other name is the Scottish Declaration of Independence signed by all the major families of Scotland including Robert the Bruce.

History of the Stone of Scone

Legends abound concerning the Stone of Scone and tradition identifies it with the one upon which Jacob rested his head at Bethel - "And Jacob rose up early in the morning, and took the stone that he had put for his pillows, and set it up for a pillar, and poured oil upon the top of it" (Genesis chapter 28, verse 18). The legend then says that Jacob's sons carried it to Egypt and from thence it passed to Spain with King Gathelus, son of Cecrops, the builder of Athens. About 700 BC it was said to be in Ireland, whither it was carried by the Spanish King's son Simon Brech, on his invasion of the island. There it was placed upon the sacred Hill of Tara, and called "Lia-Fail", the "fatal" stone, or "stone of destiny", for when the Irish kings were seated on it at coronations the Stone groaned aloud if the claimant was of royal race but remained silent if he was a pretender. Fergus Mor MacEirc (died 50l?), the founder of the Scottish monarchy, and one of the Blood Royal of Ireland, received it in Scotland, and Kenneth MacAlpin (d.860) finally deposited it in the monastery of Scone in Perthshire (846). Setting aside the earlier myths it is certain that it had been for centuries an object of veneration to the Scots. Upon this Stone their kings, down to John Balliol in 1292, were crowned, and it is said that the following words were once engraved on the Stone by Kenne

i believe i have provided enough hints in the other threads to show you the way to an other chair that i am aware of, that is known to the world.

a wooden chair, of large dimensions, with the same shelf, cavity, below the seat, that a/the stone fits into.

the kelts are/were secretive yes, some men are just as secretive.
