I heard years ago that religion has done for true spirituality much the same that Alpha-getti did for Italian cuisine.

Someone recently described religion and spirituality as two circles, that will overlap to different degrees (or not at all) for different people. I believe in God, but I don't identify as "religious". It's not that I reject the concept, I just don't really know what it means.

I guess I don't really know what "spiritual" means either. I mean I know the definition, but what does it mean in practice? What does it mean to you?

I saw a lady with a Namaste tattoo at Walmart. I bet she's "spiritual but not religious".
