So Glac your also saying the Lost Tribes of Israel can't be white either....

Did you know when Queen Elizabeth II was Crowned Queen of England, in the part of the Coronation where she is anointed with oil. She is declared Queen of Israel too? How can that be? So all previous Kings and Queens of the British Throne took the same oath as her. Also they were Crowned on the Stone of Israel or Jacob's pillow.

I think Omnitheo has the best post in this thread so far. Averagejoe, I just want simple answers that are easy to read and understand. Provide sources. The letter from Pontius Pilate to Tiberius Caesar, where does that come from? If Wikipedia, Omnitheo, and Biblical scholars all say no one knows what Jesus looked like, how is it that you know better? I have no idea what happened to the lost tribes of Israel. No one knows. Much of history is a mystery and no one will ever know things. What happened to the Maya civilization? No one knows. We can speculate, but it's impossible to know anything about Jesus' looks without a high degree of speculation and blind assumptions.

LOL what are blind assumptions? Maybe read postings of what others posted. Not one gave any evidence to their silly comments. I gave you a document letter between Pontius Pilate and Tiberius that is in the Congressional Library of the United States of America. And another letter also describing Jesus's physical description.

There is much evidence of the location of the Lost (10) Tribes of Israel. I'm putting together a Powerpoint with tons of evidence of their European Connections. Both historical, ancient archeological, physical evidence of their migration from the fall of their Northern Kingdom of Israel/Samaria north into Arsareth (today's Ukraine) then into Europe.

2 Esdras 40-45
40 Those are the ten tribes, which were carried away prisoners out of their own land in the time of Osea the king, whom Salmanasar the king of Assyria led away captive, and he carried them over the waters, and so came they into another land. 41 But they took this counsel among themselves, that they would leave the multitude of the heathen, and go forth into a further country, where never mankind dwelt, 42 That they might there keep their statutes, which they never kept in their own land. 43 And they entered into Euphrates by the narrow places of the river. 44 For the most High then shewed signs for them, and held still the flood, till they were passed over. 45 For through that country there was a great way to go, namely, of a year and a half: and the same region is called Arsareth.

Picture Information: Map of Arsareth Area

Also the Carpathian Mountain range ancient name was the Arsareth Mountains.

Or an area of Russia named after the ancient northern Israel Kingdom of Samaria/Israel

The Samara city gives its name to the Samara culture, a neolithic culture of the 5th millennium BC, and the Kurgan hypothesis associates the region with the original homeland of the Indo-European language.

Also in the same area is a River called Jeruslin River.

Israelite's become known as Scythians after they migrate North of the Black Sea.

Greek Historian Herodotus known as the Father of History names these newly found people on the north side of the Black Sea Scythians meaning Barbarians or Wanderers.

The Scythians call themselves Saka or later Saxon meaning Issac's Sons which God said the Israelites would be known as.

Image

Israel may have already been calling itself "the house of Isaac" or "the sons of Isaac" even before their overthrow and captivity.

After Assyria fell, ancient records tell of a new people living around the shores of the Caspian Sea. These people were variously known as Sakai, Sacae, Sagetae, Sakki, Scyths, Scythians, Scuths, Scuits, Scolotoi, and Scots.

SACCAE was the contemporary Middle Eastern term for Scyth and the name is believed to be a derivative of 'Isaac'. The appellation 'Saxe' or 'Saxon' is a further development of the same name.

Sharon Turner, author of History of the Anglo-Saxons, agrees, "Saka-Suna or the Sons of Sakai abbreviated into Saksun, which is the same sound as Saxon, seems a reasonable etymology of the word 'Saxon'" (p. 87). It takes no great leap of reason to conclude that "Saxons" is a corrupted form of "Isaac's sons."

Where do we find the Anglo-Saxon peoples living in these last days? In the very same place the Bible tells us Israel would be: northwestern Europe and its colonies!

That’s about the same as thinking that Australia was founded by Austrians because they have similar names. The name Saxon (in Europe) comes from the tools they used.

What tools were those?

Before the Saxon's moved from Ukraine into Europe?
They were already called Saxon.

You'd have to talk to Roman Judaean Governor Pontius Pilate, but your a tad late.... :D

Image

Pontius Pilate was the fifth prefect of the Roman province of Judaea from AD 26 to 36. He served under Emperor Tiberius, and is best known today for the trial and crucifixion of Jesus.
