Where to find Morel mushrooms in the Okanagan?

I found some up in the Terrace area back in the spring of 2011. But there wern't very many. I would doubt that you could find any up there now

Better yet, who in Kelowna would buy them, and what is the going price of them??

You won't find any morels here this year.They (mostly) grow only the year after a forest fire, so that's why they were in Terrace Mountain a few years ago. There were a few in Peachland this year, but you had to be the earlybird to get any. There will be other types of wild mushrooms available later this year, but it has not been a good year for mushrooms.
