And I am aware of the Bear Creek Riding Area, and do make use of it during the riding season, but sometimes I don't want to go for a long ride, so I go to Smith Creek.

None of these people are mud bogging, an activity who's sole purpose is to tear *bleep* up. Mountain bikers tend to make a trail and stick to it more or less. It leaves a much smaller footprint than a 4000lbs + truck ripping through these areas.

They can't allow the mountain bikers without the dirtbikers using it too, besides I am a dirtbiker, not a mud bogger.

Actually most mountain bikers I know hate when a dirt biker rips up their trails. Dirtbikers, ATVs, boggers... destructive and annoying.

Also, this post is about mud boggers. I was just pointing out your inaccuracy in your post, being that you were trying to justify boggers access by showing people mountain bikers, lol.

Actually seeing it's private property "they" (the owners) can decide just who can and can not access or "use" their property.
All part of the legal rights you'd have too if you owned this or any other piece of property

I just went and checked it out. The only change is that now there are about half a dozen trees covering the mud bog stretch. No new fences or signage.

Clearly the owners, or someone, is only presently concerned about the damage being done to the property by boggers.

You didn't notice the trees and ditch blocking the road on the right? They didn't even block all the roads off though, so pointless...

Yes I saw that. Not sure why they did that. They did that last summer in that spot also. There are plenty of open trails and roads to access the high side of the road. My first thought was it looks like a nice launch to jump the ditch they dug!

Wow! I'm no dirtbiker and my mud-bogging days were over almost 2 decades ago but after reading some of the posts in this thread I reaaly gotta feel for you dirtybiker... You are obviously one of the responsible and respectful off road enthusiasts but some people on here are certainly not doing your cause any favours.

You must be absolutely cringing every time you read posts by Tdawg, dayton and vissfam! I would like to think, and certainly hope, that more of the off-roaders are of your mindset than these other clowns. With attitudes like theirs it's no wonder people sometimes resort to sabbotaging trails.

ok so i finally drove up there today to see the dumb s**t done to the trails, the trees on the mud bogs is just firewood for the boggers now and the two blocking the side trail is a simple fix, cut one tree to fill the ditch and one cut up for fire wood. yes there is alot more trash up there then the last time i went up and i can see how that can be a problem for the owners but again there are people up there cleaning too.Its just like a park,some people clean some litter.

Wow you really aren't the sharpest knife in the drawer are you?
Presently the owners are clearly showing they don't approve of basically just the bogging. If you and other users start cutting trees in order to create a bypass of their clearly intended blocking of the road/trail their next step will likely be signs, gates, fences and cameras followed by charges for the offenders.
If you're obviously going to continue to trespass on this property and are actually the super dirtbiker like you claim to be just enter from any of a thousand other places and leave as little evidence of your entry point as possible. Disturbing the blockade will only escalate things and with the law on the owners side you and everyone else are guaranteed to lose access to not only this piece of property but likely to all the properties beyond.

Glad that you went for a nice peaceful, healthy and environmentally friendly walk rather than ripping up the property on your dirt bike and chainsawing up trees as you said you would do back in your original post.
