yep, that is true. however I don't consider cops the good guys. Like someone pointed out if there is a problem at the verve that would be the responsibility of the strata council.

supporting a road block to get drunk drivers off the road is one thing but to claim most of the problems heading up that stretch of road is the fault of the verve is b.s.

Sure use the term drug dealers to garner support because thats something sheep can believe and follow. I however have a brain and can recognize a cop cheerleader when I see one.

Anyone on here remember the drug house on bay and richter? one house and richter street looked like dawn of the dead all the way from town to bay street with the druggies heading down there.

Not hard to tell the op doesn't even live at the verve from his comments either. complete whiney cop cheer leading is all he's doing

Not paying income taxes and sucking off Canada's services, driving on our roads, using our airports, being driven around in ambulances when you get beat down or shot and being a dirty social leech for starters?

I fully support the right for people to put whatever they want in their bodies, but if your dealing drugs currently that means you don't pay out income taxes, which makes you a mooch and deserve no respect.

Awe, too bad. No better than a thief or a welfare cheat.

Not exactly true now is it bagotricks? This town has its fair share of grow ops as a matter of fact most people know that it is the grow ops that fuel a big chunk of our economy including the financing of large cocaine purchases.

In order to grow pot you need property..got property? you pay property tax what is that tax used for? police, roads , schools etc. get the real picture?

Funny thing about the verve, no one cares what you do there its mostly young aged tenants (im 19) I can tell you they do not take pitty on people smoking in the lobby or hallways...everyone does it.

The bulk of the posters here seem to indicate that your post is not entirely accurate.

I ask again, where is the strata council in all of this? Are they controlled by the party set?

Actually, a great number of grow ops and meth labs occur in rental units with absentee landlords. Probably even the majority.

yes a high percentage do occur in rentals... who pays the rent that pays the tax? the dopers.

who spends excess money? people who have it. what makes a better economy? people spending money.

those fancy cars, homes, clothes and jewelry bought by drug money and taxes paid by the people selling it.

The drug addicted people kept in the gutters being paid to rat on the dealers? kept there by their own choice paid by the police from drug money.

yep...the truth sucks folks.

It took me a second there but I think you just stated drug dealers keep the economy going.....I am done replying to you. Anymore time spent replying to your comments would be a waste of time. Go "Occupy" something......

Once again where did It ever say that it would fix the problems of the Verve....Your imagining things again.....I think the guy was simply stating that theres a lot of drunks and dealers there and its a good place for a roadblock.....and from the stories everyone is telling it sounds like it is....So im sorry if you get pulled over...

So is a beer store parking lot....IF you follow that logic.

Problem is , people who "have nothing to hide " get hassled for it ..Not right IMO, but hey , I don't care about civil liberties or effective and efficient use of resources ,do I ??....I'm just a cop basher ...(barf)...
I payed attention in High school....But not to what they were trying to teach me..

No I wouldnt call you a cop basher...but as much as you hate the tactics used by the cops they are affective. Before you say it.... there are other tactics that are affective as well and we all know they are used too. Remember to be affective you have to change it up a bit...Roadblocks are popular but not used everyday.

Yes you pay tax on things when you buy things. So do the rest of us.

Do dealers pay income tax when they make a drug deal? I pay income tax when I get a paycheck.

What makes the drug dealer so special that they think they are immune to "income taxes".

No better than a welfare cheat.
