What constitutes a fantastic camping experience? Fishing? swimming? hiking? Elaborate and I'll make a suggestion or two.

Are you tenting? motorhome? trailer?

Beautiful scenery, swimming, private and we are taking our ten month old with us for her first camping trip! We have 4x4 so remote is great, and we will be tenting. Looking for something new and at a lower altitude so the baby doesn't get cold overnight.

Thanks for all the suggestions, it looks like we have a list of great spots to choose from! We are seasoned campers and usually just pick a 'green triangle' on the Backroads Map, but it's a little trickier now that we have a little one... want to make sure it's suitable before driving a distance.
