Good idea. Tie up police resources for something completely trivial.

I don't like bums either, but what does it matter if they target you whie you're in your car or while your'e walking? Does it make a difference?
Heres what you didnt get, spelled out. The difference is they used to sit by the doors of a store playing a guitar or something. They didnt come to you and ask you for anything, while You are walking OR at Your car. Thats the difference. Now they have no problem circling you car with their bikes till you get out or even now having one circle you walking like a zombie while the other sneaks up behind him and starts with the story and the begging. Even on Bernard they sat and asked as you walked by. I dont like them coming to my car specially since,,, if We remember right one of them pounded one guy right at his car when he said he didnt have anything. He ended up in KGH if I remember right for stitches. They shouldnt go seeking out people, they should sit against a wall and let people walk by if asked and nothing happens, like a loonie falls into their grubby little hands.
Its scary for some women who are alone and thats not right. Soon it might be like in Winnipeg, Gimme a smoke! The person goes for their pack and this creep grabs the pack and runs. Ya believe it or not some people will put a couple smokes in their shirt pocket, even if they dont smoke so they can yank one out and give it to these people cos they are afraid to just say no when these people come right up to them with chains on and spike hair lookin like, "You better caugh up! I am not asking!"
And,,,, better yet these people could go to Timmies, get a free uniform and work for their money rather then try scavenging my money for their tax free drug and booze uses. That chubby chick smelled like yesterdays bottle recycle bags out back of a bar.
We are not helping them, we are keeping them drunk, drugged and happy here. Some have even tried to give them a sandwich which is found on the side walks, thats the sign of someone who wants the cash for something other then survival.

Your spelling sucks I guess. I see the difference, I don't see why it matters. It's annoying either way, but it's still a yes or no question.
Do you have any change? Yes/No. I don't care if it's at my car, on the sidewalk or at the front door of a store.

Oh and its not a yes or no question, its a long story bout how they are poor and yer supposed to feel sorry for them before you go shopping. Then sometimes if you say no they come back with but I have travelled on this bike for days,,, you cant say no, you have to lie and say you have nothing.

I wasn't referring to your actual spelling, I was referring to the fact that you said your opinion was "spelled out for me" but yet you still haven't explained exactly what the problem is. Hence, the comment.
I'm trying to discuss the issue. I'm sorry you can't figure out my simple post. Oxey has and provided the answer I was expecting from someone with a brain.

I suppose I don't feel any more cornered than I do at the door to a store. I can just get back in the car. I can walk away. I can talk to them. I can ignore them. Perhaps because I'm a male, I don't see this as any different from "regular" panhandling.
You aren't cornered, you're in an open parking lot. Probably in the day time with lots of witnesses. Now if we're talking night time... that's a different story. Although I haven't heard of people panhandling in empty parking lots late at night.

You are cornered,,, they come right to your car door as you are getting out, or wait you out till you get out of your car like I have seen them do many times to people, mostly wonmen. Now if you had a women in yer life this Would concern you, trust me on that. Its called cornering. They are not standing back at all. I am glad Oxy had the brains you were looking for, the rest here get it so seems you get yer pick even. If you read all the way back you will see whats being said, as above, two words,,, get lost! Its that easy. They are dirty bums and no one wants them hanging around their cars. Some have even said they are afraid not to give for fear while they are in the store these bums will key the car for not giving them money.

I work hard for every dollar i make. There are charities, governments, lawyers, exwifes, power companies and bums . It seems like everyone has there hands in my pocket. I am tired of it so i will start saying enough .If it comes down to violance then so be it violance it will be. Let them ask then i'll respond with my GET LOST. they don't like it to bad.

I find the Capri area is really bad, I've gotten to the point where I don't even go to Extra Foods anymore unless my husband is with me, they seem to watch for people who are alone (and especially women.) If I do have to go in I don't even bother bringing my purse I merely have my debit card in my pocket. Once I was approached and said I only had my card and was told that there was a bank machine inside, I just kept walking.

Rather than giving a couple like that money, we should be giving them condoms.
Old kettles, old bottles, and a broken can / Old iron, old bones, old rags, that raving sIut / Who keeps the till / Now that my ladder's gone / I must lie down where all the ladders start / In the foul rag and bone shop of the heart.

Re: Panhandlers at Staples
I've been approached several times at walmart staples and now Coopers in rutland. Thay watch you like a hawk and approach you at your car before you go in. I usually only have my bank card and can't give money, but when I say this I spend the whole time in the store wondering if they're going to scratch my car up out of spite. Makes for a great shopping experience :nutzoid:
