Gosh, why promote segregation? then ask to be treated equally?
As a society we are not getting any better! We are divided and always will be!
Bilingualism, equality, equal rights, political opposition, nations fighting against each other...its the way of the world.
Sad fact but a reality.

Just say it as it is!

From the above link:

"Why would it ever be OK to give a child less than other children?"

The government could say that to rectify this they'll make natives and the rest of Canadians equals, but the natives would never go for that, so what a stupid thing to say.

I wonder how much the government had to spend on providing housing and land for life for the rest of Canadians... ah yes, the rest had to pay the government... I guess that makes a difference in the factoring.

Doesn't matter how much the government had to spend on others. It was clear that the Canadian government "took over" "dominated" "infiltrated" use whatever word you wish, the people of the First Nation. They had obligations to treat them as persons, but did not.

There is no excuse other than that was the thinking of the day, but that does not stop our current government from making amends, which it looks like will be happening. And good for them. It is time things are set right, but it will take time.

As far as not being able to vote in West Kelowna municipal elections, too bad so sad. You bought on First Nation land, which is a separate government. Whitey, caucasion, purple red or pink, you bought into another government's tax system. That's like saying you live in Kelowna and should be able to vote in Vernon.

As far as the segregation goes, does this mean that you as a person living in Canada should be entitled to know the down lows on all religions, sects, or citizens in Canada? Is it really any of your business?

We are coming into Monkey year. It would be well for you to know the phrase, not my circus, not my monkeys. As it is for First Nation Land.

This is why when you say it takes time, everyone knows you're talking about light years.
