And so? The trucks may be rerouted but won't stop the amount of vehicular traffic on that road. Comments earlier were about pedestrian safety - I don't see how that will be any different.

Exactly. And who the hell cares about any of the families with kids who live along Gordon? Obviously NOT the city planners or council. They must be poor folks not wealthy ones who live in pricey condos in the Cultural District amid the museums, theatahs, art galleries and the likes of those high-stylin' stuffs with a view of the lake.

Once we get rid of the trucks on Ellis we can start working on getting the Soup Kitchen moved to the old A&B Sound building. That would really help to improve the downtown City Park area.

Care? Care about what? Care about YOU? Sure, I can go along with that. You can't begin to get me to agree to you caring about the families on Gordon, though. NIMBY mean anything to you?

2 winners - Drivers coming in - shorter travel distance and ALL BUSINESSES and RESIDNETS of the Downtown.

Positive Development in putting Downtown on the Map since we are 35% tourist relied upon economically speaking.

Love it! :nyah: :nyah:

Just read some of the comments on the petition from page one, it is all about them. Quite disgusting actually. People get woken up by the trucks and get dust on their patios. I guess the people that live on Gordon don't deserve quiet as it is an older neighbourhood and the families aren't as important as the high rollers living on Ellis. So darn happy Wally got voted in again.

This says it all.

I'll say. It's enough to keep me out of the Ellis Street businesses.

Nick?

Copy that. Let's see if their new residents will spend enough there to keep them viable.

I imagine you'd have to sell a lot of Vanilla Lattes to cover the bills.
