I am new to this area and am looking for a stylist good with short hair. I would prefer a quieter atmosphere as opposed to a large salon.

Amy at 4-10 Salon is great. Her shop is set up in the basement of her home. She's very professional and has reasonable rates. I like that she keeps notes about the type of haircut she gives you and refers to it each time you visit. Her shop is located behind ByLow in the South Vernon area and she is very prompt at returning emails or phone messages.

Voila Spa on Pleasant Valley road is great...two stylists only..I go to Barb there.....
