I've been working in the Vancouver area all week and the sales are pretty great. Nothing that I'd wake up and camp outside for...but in terms of Christmas shopping it's been great...clothing especially.

We've got many of the same stores in Kelowna and I'm seeing a lot of 40%-50% of the entire store. Everyone gets twice the gifts!

LOL - In my house that would mean I get money in my savings account - and people still get gifts :D

Nah! I set a budget early on. I'll let others benefit from sales. Christmas only comes around once a year :)

The Walmart "Black Friday" flyer says i pad 2 16gb $374. Their website shows normal price of $398. Not much of a saving!

Kid got the KitchenAid mixer ... model advertised in flyer wasn't received so assistant manager gave him a better model for the sale price.

Depends on what you're looking for or really, really need. Early Christmas gift for him last week was a set of professional pots 'n pans ... regular $1,000 on sale for $300.
