Easy enough to get it wrong but no, it is a Lancaster IMHO.

You're right I was looking at the wrong picture in the airport pictures-I went down only as far as the unusual planes picture, my apologies.

Beer tree. I think every town had one of those, like Fish Lake. I went through my "formative" years (how to throw up with style) in Summerland and the beer tree there was out at the back end of the old golf course, which is now the new golf course.

How bout the Alymer Cannery? I can still picture the ladies in their hair nets and little white hats ... sitting outside on the lawn for their lunch break. That place must have employed quite a few people back in the day!
