Not sure about the owners affiliation - but even on CHBC it seems to be downplayed. What's bad for Kelowna is bad for Nick Frost. You don't hear about the news that is financially risky to the people that own the companies that "report" the news for profit.

This was a car bomb in downtown Kelowna. IRA style. Montreal gang war style. How many local businesses are involved in some way?

Hopefully they will do it right next time. Kelowna would be better off without a piece of garbage like that. Too funny. A 13 year old from Afganistan would have done a better job.

Sometimes killing a person is just so conclusive. If they owe you money, why kill them? If you do there is no money.

The best I heard was a fellow owed big time. A fellows new vehicle was cubed, crushed and placed back on his driveway. That apparently did not work. The next step was his son had a pizza delivery slip and fall, with a 240 lb biker on his knee. That did send the message.

I think they knew what they were doing, just sending a little message... that could be your kid in the vehicle, or your wife you know. They don't care who.

Are you sure that legalizing drugs is going to stop gangsters from bombing vehicles?
Better yet, get rid of all the drug users, they are the ones with the problem.
People spend a whole bunch of time picking on smokers, but all the drug users are really smart worthy people.

Personally, anyone thinking about legalizing something that shouldn't even be part of society needs help!
We need a few new laws to correct the drug problems in our society, thats all.

And the bomb that destroyed the vehicle may have been placed by a family member, who's to say it was another gangster trying to make a point?
