If done properly, and docked near City park, I think this might actually work. As long as they keep it reasonably priced it would be a hit with visitors and maybe even a few locals.

I'm glad it gets another chance, I have many fond memories of taking the cruise as a kid. One thing that baffles me is:
Fuel costs are just $25 an hour to cruise at 6-8 knots and carry 326 passengers.

I'd love to be able to cycle to Downtown, take the ferry to Fintry or Westbank, and go for a nice ride there and come back. That would be a nice weekend thing-to-do.

Agreed, that seems way too low in my experience.

Lots of "hopes to" in that article. I wish them luck, I think they'll need it.

Good, I can't wait to go on a few cruises so my daughter has a chance to
experience it as I have in the past.
As far as fuel mileage goes, A low draft vessell does not take much
propullsion to do it's thing.
At an estimated $10.00 fare, quite the bargain for a lake cruise.

I think it's great for those who wish to pack a lunch bastket, and see some of the many little get away parks around the area!
Good on the vision, hope it works.
Another thing old and young now can enjoy here other then wine and golf.

Things may not be as they seem and stating "Fintry Queen will sail again" is a bit premature.

Sounds like it won't be a go - at least around City Park.
Truths can be backed up by facts - do you have any?

Unless they take the poll into consideration, over 70% responded it would be a good idea so far.
