THANK YOU for saying something, I've been meaning to as well! I did see it once after Christmas and thought it had been pulled it was so offensive, but apparently it's still being played. Trust me, if that was sent to Global big wigs in ..., wherever their head office is, it would be pulled immediately and he would be made to apologize. In fact, I'm not even religious and I found that so offensive.

I think it's self-parody. Mike Roberts is a pretty humble guy and can get away with it. It's different when a DB like, say, Donald Trump does it.

That said, I haven't seen the commercial.

I'd think something like that would be too goofy for anyone to take seriously.

I am a Christian and I think it's funny.

I just erased everything I wrote, it wasn't nice. It had nothing to do with the commercial though. More about the things people complain about.

Mike Roberts is funny. I can only imagine the commercial being just for laughs.

I'm glad I do.

It's a great commercial. In fact, when watching TV with my sister it came on, and I specifically didn't mute the volume so we could see it and we both had a good time chuckling at it.

Get off your high horse. It's a commercial. Furthermore, it's a creative commercial... and the local TV scene certainly needs a little creativity these days.

If you don't like what you see on TV change the channel....or turn it off.

When I saw it I rolled my eyes. Then promptly forgot about it.

I've run into Mike a few times over the course of my building carrer, he's a nice guy, always joking around and never expecting people to take him too seriously.

there are a thousand ridiculous commercials out there but, I'm all for any single one making fun of religion, even if unitentional.
