Snow would have been in a U.S. prison when Jon Bacon was killed.

Or they have a few bankers by the balls :D

The bankers enable the gangsters. Profit is the acceptable god to worship in this economic system.

Just like Miami in the 80s, the bankers dont need to be threatened. Greed is fostered, they will gladly take their money

How many hippies went to jail for tresspassing, and how many bankers went to jail for crashing the world economy?

One of the world's biggest banks was just convicted of helping to launder billions, but nobody went to jail. The fine they paid was a days profit for the bank. Too big to jail.

I'm thinking that the three arrested had better pray they don't get bail granted.
What with their names out there and all now for all to see.

So, do we even know if the guy in the back seat was the shooter?
Perhaps the vehicle was ambushed, and the guy in the back seat survived the attack, and ran for his life.

On CBC this morning, the official couldn't say 'how' they had been killed.

How do you know they'd been shot?

Parole Board had concerns about Snow’s criminal links
A Kelowna drug smuggler murdered on Feb. 18 had been denied parole a year ago because of information he “may be more actively involved in organized crime than previously believed,” according to documents obtained by The Vancouver Sun
Jeremy Daniel Snow, 33, and his girlfriend Tiffany June Goruk, 30, were found dead in West Kelowna after her Cadillac Escalade crashed outside a luxury condo complex where she lived.

Police said the two were already dead when the black SUV hit a lamp standard about 11 p.m. that night.

Snow was arrested in the U.S. on March 5, 2009 after flying a helicopter into northern Idaho with 150 pounds of marijuana aboard. He had also agreed to bring cocaine back into B.C. Undercover American agents posing as ground crew at his landing site arrested him.

Snow pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 46 months in jail, after claiming he was pressured to do a single drug run. He was allowed to transfer to a B.C. jail on June 23, 2011.

He was denied both day and full parole on March 9, 2012, when information about his links to organized crime was noted by the Parole Board of Canada. Parole documents show that board members had concerns Snow was minimizing his involvement in the cross-border smuggling scheme.

“The board is also left with questions about your credibility when you described how you became involved in the crime,” the documents say. “You were unable to completely explain why you would have chosen to assist the organization that was trafficking the drugs and the board has some concerns about your level of transparency.”

Parole board members noted that Snow’s case management team (CMT) inside prison didn’t support his release on parole and that one halfway house which had been willing to take him, withdrew its offer because of his continuing criminal links.

“Your CMT does not support you for either day or full parole given the information that they have received from the community and RCMP regarding your suspected level of involvement in organized criminal activity,” the parole board said.

“You were quite categorical in denying that you have any current associations or ties with organized crime.”

Snow also denied prison intelligence that he had been “associating with a high-ranking gang member” at one Canadian jail in which he served time.

Snow told the parole board he thought he would get released quickly once he was returned to Canada.

“You said that you were very disappointed after transferring to a Canadian prison from the United States to learn that you would not be released fairly quickly as you had thought, the board said.

Snow eventually got statutory release (normally automatic after serving 2/3 of a sentence) – just months before his murder.

Although I don't "know" how they were killed, I think it's relatively safe to assume that if they were indeed dead before they hit the lamp pole, then they died pretty suddenly in that moving vehicle.
Stabbing them or cutting their throats would not likely bring such a sudden end to their lives.
I think it's safe to assume that unless the killer had an air compressor and a cow-bolt...they were most likely met with a small metal projectile to the bean.
That would be "that sudden".

Knowing the crowd she belonged to, I'm surprised she didn't die sooner.

Interesting obituary for the young girl. Says she was married.
The guy she dies with was not her husband..... So perhaps this has nothing to do with drugs, but a disgruntled husband??

Just thought I would throw some more gas on the fire.

Perhaps the divorce wasn't final...but she had been with her now also dead boyfriend for at least a year.

Not exactly the scenario one would expect for an ex killing the mother of his two young sons...probably had much better opportunities than to ambush them by hiding in the back seat of a vehicle and taking them out while it was moving.

My money is on the drugs

Now why would you drag the ex-husband [and the father of a couple of kids] into this discussion in the manner that you have here? Based on what evidence did you think it appropriate to make such a suggestion? If your comment was made with tongue in cheek, it was still really uncalled for. Is it just a case of being thoughtless or a total lack of ability to empathize with the plight of the estranged husband and those kids? Although your comments would seem to suggest so, I hesitate to blame it on stupidity or ignorance.
