He could donate to them if he feels Kelowna Ballet is worth saving. From his own pocket, I mean - not the city pocket.

I never really saw or heard much about the ballet. I am sure they advertised etc but, and I could be wrong, they did not seem involved with the community? They never registered on my radar. Maybe join in parades? Free promotional shows? I don't know what the solution could have been. I could get interested in seeing some shows, but I can't recall anything standing out. But isn't it too late already? Gray was quoted as stating "Maybe, maybe, and it's an off chance, it (Ballet Kelowna) could be saved if enough people showed up March 15." That won't save them in the long term.

Sorry Walter just trying to survive in this unaffordable town. Trying to keep the Kraft dinner on the kids table with the low wages and sunshine tax. Cant really afford new work boots, ballet tickets may have to wait. Jack A$$!

Politicians are soooo out to lunch, especially this goofy "old boy" bunch.

Kelowna hasn't really got much else for culture.

Really?

Not just this but the absolutely severe lack of jobs, all types, to create a sustainable society.
But that is not what Kelowna is. I accept that. It is styled to be an exclusive society for the rich and independently wealthy, retired, etc staffed by minimum wage service workers to keep them fed, golf caddied, and gas pumped.

It is what it is.

Around here there's far more of the former than the latter.
