How is Sopa Square progressing these days? Has all the commercial frontage been leased? Are they back on track as originally planned? No? Maybe next year!!

When are you anticipating that this will be completed? Not everything looks like a given LOL.

Just being real, how that silver jewelry store is still there is a surprise to me. They did not make it in the mall ( I am aware rent is higher) so is traffic, but they have somehow survived this long and are maybe hoping the summer will keep them going.

It would be a good location for an MEC, but like that would happen.

Mountain Equipment Co-op.
It wouldn't survive here.

Would be nice to get someone to actual finish this project.

I see that 2 new restaurants are opening there. Canadian Brewhouse and Famoso Italian Pizza. Hopefully these will attract the public and start the ball rolling for others to sign up. I have driven past a few times lately and the frozen yoghurt place always looks empty, not sure how much business they have had since opening but doesn't look promising from passing the door.

I thought the Canadian Brewhouse announced they were opening up at the old East Side Mario's location on the highway about a year ago.

Rumor/hearsay/unconfirmed chatter was that the type of liquor license associated with ESM biz did not match up to a brew pub or something along those lines
