I think it's safe to say everyone has voiced their opinions about the new bylaws one way or the other and this thread ran it's course about a hundred pages ago. Let it die. Or better yet, lock it down.

Or rename it to dog droppings.
It's just a rant thread and hasn't had any content related to new bylaws in a long time. Just about rdco will never do anything, or how the rdco will never miss an opportunity to fine somebody even if they have to make it up, or how they want to take and throw dogs into a puppy grinder.

Don't argue with mods. Keep to pointing out inconsistencies in stories and they destroy themselves.
In western's world, the 3 dogs loose would be facing the puppy grinder. In queen's neighborhood, she takes the dogs home. Yet they tend to be allies here.
So queen, should the rdco come to western's neighborhood ready to seize these dogs?

Re: RDCO New Bylaws
I think what RDCO should have done with the new dog bylaw was increase the fine for having too many dogs and do what they always do, pick and choose who and what they want to enforce like they seem to have done all along. Its not like the 9 dog owner doesn't have a home in another Province for his dogs. I don't see a for sale sign on his property. He was just here a week or so ago for a few days. I think he did that other years too .. came for a week then left and then came back for 2 months. I could see if someone had 3 dogs that RDCO could turn a blind eye to that because the 3 dog limit is controversial... but 9 dogs or 6 dogs, I would want to see a higher fine to discourage the 6 or 9 dogs repeatedly coming back every year. I believe somewhere along the line I heard the property owner wants to retire here, what is he going to do then? How will RDCO handle that? Will the dog owner get a fine each year or will he get one fine. I don't know how that works, and if I tried to understand it I would probably be wrong. RDCO comes up with some things that are hard to comprehend. For instance the fine for a dog in a park off leash is different that a fine for an off leash dog that is not within a park? If you are outside of a park then its an "at large" fine. If you are inside a park the fine escalates for each subsequent offence but the fine doesn't escalate for dogs outside of parks for each subsequent offence.
