There's still a fire ban on because it's simply too dry out there to have a fire.

We did need that rain though, and I did enjoy the spectacular show. :) Had to get the candles and oil lamp going for a bit, fortunately books don't need a power source.
I haven't failed until I quit.

I hope Washington got some of that rain as well.
My Wife asked me if I knew what her favorite flower was?

Can't stand thunder in the middle of the night ... gives me the heebee-jeebee's.

I turned on the furnace this am. Could see the pup's breath. Warm outside

This was my back yard when I got home from work last night...took out my neighbour's 2 peach trees and their garden is somewhere underneath there...

Last week we were told to prepare for storms; heavy rain and possibly hail. In S-E Kelowna we got a little sprinkle of rain. That is all. Distant thunder. No lightning. It just shows that in spite of all of our advanced technology, when it comes to the weather, Mother Nature is still hard to outguess.

Like a lady we think might be deciding to go on the warpath, there are just too many variables.

It is that time of year when people need outside coats and inside coats if they want to stay comfortable. A few months back it was clothes outside.
