Snowbirds

Post by Fixer 166 »

Excited for the snowbirds tomorrow, should be another great show.
Does anyone know if the will be broadcasting the cockpit chatter from the planes as they have done before? If so what is the radio station or whatever?? Its so cool to listen to in the boat as they're flying over.
Cheers

If you can't make it, make sure you are near a computer; Castanet will stream the entire performance live.

Yeah, thanks Fancy.
More wondering about radio broadcast as they have done in previous years.
Where is everyone watching from? Any good secret spots?

I saw the lads doing a flyover late this morning...seeing them in formation never gets old.

I really hope that they muffle their exhausts.... I hope they read that in Kelowna no loud boats and bikes cars and also planes should be included....

I'm assuming this was meant facetiously, right? I hope so. If not, I have to ask - why do you live in a city like Kelowna? There are very quiet places where you never have to hear or see anyone else not very far away. Personally I hope they pound the sky! I still remember as a kid when the Blue Angels accidentally caused a sonic boom that smashed a good many of the windows along Bernard! Good times, good times.

Glad none of us have jobs!

I hope they use the camera in the drone and get some nice close up videos.

Sadly , we picked the wrong spot for the show ...We went to waterfront beach but just parked our butts to early.

Still cool though...
