Okay let us be real, the monarchy has been dead for a loooong time, why is this important? Diana and what's his ugliness were in Kelowna in the 80's at City Park, remember it very clearly waiting on the soccer field for them to arrive. She was the only reason anyone showed up I'm sure.

It's kinda sad how people in the royal family are born with their life already layed out for them, they are born famous for doing nothing. I'm not sure if I'm jealous or if I feel bad for them.

Let them come and say hi, they are like any other guest to our city. I would say hi to the pope and give him directions if he asked. I just would plunk down any cash in his collection plate.

There are a whole lot of other people I would just as soon not come to Kelowna, so what's the problem.

It's not a problem except that we foot the bill. It's not even spending the money but rather what it's being spent on.

And you are right, they are welcome. Just be nice if they brought their own M/C.
