True, but in this case there is smog from car pollution and slash burning. The air is not good anymore when we get inversions because the amount of traffic up and down the valley.

The majority of haze right now is from dust. This dry, cold weather has caused a lot of sublimation to occur and the dust is really bad. I was driving down Bear Main last weekend and it was more dusty than in the heat of August. The shoulders of city streets are the same way.
