Thunderstorm right over Carrs Landing right now.
Short but awesome cloudburst of much needed actual water from the sky.
Only lasted about 15 minutes, put it poured like crazy while it passed over.
Smells amazing out now !

It's drizzling in this sector of The Rich at the moment

WOW, Lytton had a low of only 22.2C yesterday! That's insanely warm for this time of year! I don't know if Kelowna has ever had a night that warm.

So true, I think even the plants agree. Everything seems out of sync when they don't get real rain as opposed to me hosing them down. :135:

The three main weather models all agree that Labour Day is going to be record breaking. Very hot; maybe even high 30s, which has only ever happened once before in BC in September (1988 when Williams Lake, McLeese Lake, Grand Forks/Billings, Yale, and Cowichan Lake were all 39C).

Still, 38 yesterday... also notice that Princeton was both the hottest and the coldest place in the Okanagan (Salmon Arm to Osoyoos to Princeton)...

:-X Nowhere, it's nowhere. But it better be on the Oregon Coast in early October.

Need I remind you about the smoke taking 5 to 10 degrees off the forecast? The models show amazing heat that would be record breaking (it's never been 40C anywhere in BC in September), and then the rains come sometime after the 9th. The record will likely never happen because of the smoke.

FYI, the all time BC record for September was on the 3rd of September, 1988 when Williams Lake, McLeese Lake, Billings (near Grand Forks), Yale, and Cowichan Lake were 39C. Lytton and Princeton were over 38.5C.

The temperature was 39C in Kamloops and Ashcroft yesterday. In the case of Kamloops, it was the hottest day of the year.
