Yup. "Lake effect" snow is produced by evaporation from the warmer lake water reacting with cold air flow above. Didn't Mike Roberts like to call it "flavage" (pronounced fla-vaj) ?

June, July and August we see an average of 824.3 hours of sunshine. November, December and January we see an average of 125.4 hours of sunshine. Valley cloud is awful...

There is also a heck of a lot of less hours of Daylight, can someone fix that please!
I got Married because I was sick and tired of finishing my own sentences.
That's worked out great for me!

It's a slow adjustment. You just can't slam darkness shut.

I'm beginning to appreciate Quailize. At least Quailize is on the ball. I swear 1/2 hour ago the forecast for the next few days was completely different. *bleep* environment Canada fartnuts

Big white was suntan weather. Unfortunately the windchill at the top of gem lake felt like -50c.

Yes, she gets the info from Environment Canada....... it is updated regularly, don't you know.

I know that just poppin, my point was it was completely different a half hour before that. Like it was for a complete different city. Remember the failed snowfall warning recently?
