Its really windy up this way too...and cooling off fast.

Daughter came home from work, walked in the door and the wind slammed it shut - loudly. Loudly enough to bring the rest of the family running. I explained it wasn't her doing, that the wind slammed the door. There was some interest briefly, then all left to do what they were doing.

We went down to Rotary Beach to watch and photograph the waves pounding the gabions. So beautiful and yet we knew it was also pounding shoreline house properties with the same force.
