EDIT: Nope, Ashcroft didn't get that warm (probably because of the smoke). Wasn't even top 10. The station is now back on.

Last night there was a trace of rain - I was at a Zumba event in East Kelowna, at the Vibrant Vine. If it wasn't for the brief breezes and even briefer overcast I'd have heat exhaustion for sure!

Wow, Revelstoke of all places was the provincial hot spot yesterday! Meanwhile, the Okanagan was back into the bitter cold (places that can't even make the top 10).

Some thunderstorms popping up in the east. Sounds like we could get some storms here in Kelowna along the east slopes later today.

A friend of mine just flew through a snowstorm!



But the snow was not over the fires. Here are a couple of fire pictures of the big azz Miner Lake fire way up at 5,000 ft. It's a narrow valley surrounded by snow capped mountains, so it won't be going anywhere.
