Here is what I have on the Storm of the Century [icon_lol2.gif]

Winter Weather Advisory
URGENT - WINTER WEATHER MESSAGE...UPDATED
National Weather Service Spokane WA
522 PM PST Mon Dec 18 2017

...HEAVY SNOW TONIGHT AND TUESDAY...

.Heavy snow accumulations will occur over portions of north
central and northeast Washington as well as north Idaho tonight
into Tuesday. Temperatures in the lower to mid 30s around
Leavenworth, Brewster, Omak, Springdale, Deer Park, and Sandpoint
will make this a difficult forecast. Precipitation in these
communities may periodically be a mix of rain and snow limiting
lowland accumulations. For the mountains, this storm will produce
a couple feet of accumulation tonight through Wednesday morning.

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 4 PM PST
TUESDAY...

* WHAT...Snow expected. Plan on difficult travel conditions. Total
snow accumulations of 2 to 5 inches below 2000 feet, with
localized amounts of 5 to 8 inches above 2000 feet, are
expected.

* WHERE...Omak, Okanogan, Oroville, Nespelem, and Disautel Pass.

* WHEN...Snow will develop by mid to late evening and persist
through Tuesday morning. Precipitation may mix with or change
to rain Tuesday afternoon...especially below 2000 feet
elevation.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Slushy accumulations will have the
potential to create treacherous driving conditions. Elevation
will likely influence snow accumulations considerably.
Temperatures in the low to mid 30s may limit lowland
accumulations around Omak and Brewster.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means periods of snow will
cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow covered
roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving.
The latest road conditions for the state you are calling from can
be obtained by calling 5 1 1.

Well. Lets see. Big snowstorm coming in. This would therefore be the perfect time for EC's radar machine to go down again...

And......nothing happened here in Kelowna last night. The snow warning has ended and the warning is now only for the Coq.

What a let down.

Up here in Rutland it is snowing very lightly - were it rain it would be misting - and the wind is blowing. Not very cold at all, if it warms at all it will all be slush.
I haven't failed until I quit.

Ah yes.
Another apocalyptic weather warning on the way.
Woke up to a light dusting of snow.....

Who knows....maybe we will see some actual snow this time. :D
