I don't see any regulations in this thread Dizz...and I'm speculating and asking if anyone has any ideas as to who this is? fair enough? How about some insight before trolling me out...
Try one of the other 137 threads posted every time someone sees a helicopter.
Nobody wants to hear your opinion. They just want to hear their own opinion coming out of your mouth.

1000 feet above built up areas vs 500 feet above non-built up areas. As I am unfamiliar with the area, I'll leave that one up to you guys. They also have permission to fly lower under outlined circumstances including low visibility.

Re: Helicopter?
Some trolls REALLY get triggered when someone asks a question that's already been asked.
Seems to me some trolls need a nap.
Shameful.
I don't know of any cherries around that area (Burtch and Dickson), but I would not be surprised to find out that there was a manhunt on (after all it's been a wild party weekend) for some car thief, assault suspect or someone of that nature.
I'd also question the angle viewed, as perhaps from certain angles, helicopters might appear closer than they should when approaching the KGH helipad.

Re: Helicopter?
You asked if there are regulations. I posted yes there are and informed you that they have been posted in other similar threads as well. Apparently your life is too busy to try and answer your own question using the search function on the topic or even Google.
My apologies that you took my response so personally and I also apologize that I didn't do the leg work for you instead of simply stating that the regulations have already been posted in other identical threads.
I also posted a link in the post above your post.

Maybe it was Al Stober showing some guests his latest project.
Rules do get broken.
