If anyone has any idea as to which house would have been the "right address" it would likely help them to identify the connection and thus the gutless offenders. Given the restrictions placed on the police by Criminal Court judges it will likely be several years before the police have the evidence to charge those responsible with any hope of conviction. *removed*
There is a good chance that the " right address" was a place that homeowners had something of value that the scumbags wanted, that could be the only connection.

.... that could be the only connection.
Houses picked at random for violent home invasions are IMO not that common. The house is usually selected on the basis of prior knowledge. The wrong address aspect makes it more difficult to determine the connection.

It may also be, the family has some bad practices meaning the children.
I have a 80+ yr old friend, his crack head son comes and goes from the home. Three months ago, men came to the old mans home and asked for money on unpaid debt. These people don't care and taking out the crack head, will not get them their money will it. But putting a beating on a family member sends a very strong message "stop ripping off the dealer you mule for.."
You just never know, until it all comes out in the wash.
I do not know these people involved, but this can happen.

The scumbags may have had that in mind fore sure. Getting the wrong address would make it even worse.

IMO Kelowna has a large but latent drug problem and drug related pilfering property crime but better than most in other respects.

Yes, yes.
Tomatoes in which to hide the jagged rocks.

Physically they're ok. Mentally, not so much. They were very tramatized and may never fully get over it. They had counselling and are getting a lot of support. Hopefully karma catches up to the two losers..sooner rather than later......
