Sadly, our house chicken is special needs with some mobility issues. I fear she would get flung off at the first bump!

Ok I have not read thru the whole thread but the headline caught my attention... We have people sleeping on the streets and you are worried about chickens.. Please lets get our priorities staight. Chickens

people can help themselves chickens not so much. chickens offer something to society in the form of eggs it also doesn't say homeless people left to die in the bush so not really an issue for me

This is more about the ability to show compassion for animals that were tossed into the bush like waste, by someone that was just thinking of themselves.
