When I first moved here their was few Mom & Pop places. Can't recall the name, pretty good meat, potatoes & gravy spot was downstairs where 103.9 Juice/deDutch currently are.

Pizza Patio used to be there many years ago if my childhood memory serves me correct.

Sorry, I can't answer your question but Burger Baron is the closest thing that I have found to old style burgers.

Yeah, without a doubt you can't beat home cooking (unless you screw it up!). I might try Burger Baron; or even Fatburger near Capri for a change. I can easily have them delivered in my trade.

The best burgers I have tried in town are in the old train station pub by Prospera place. The prices are even fair, considering what you get.

I have had a 15 buck burger there and really felt it was worth it.. And you can take your underage kids in there, but only if they behave... :200:
Usually I would rather pay less.. The ones at Roses were usually around 10 bucks with fries or salad..
I'd like to help You OUT,

Littlest Hobo hasn't been mentioned yet? Woodfire Bakery?

You won't get beers but you will get inexpensive hearty and homemade food.

Woodfire is good. I've never tried the Littlest Hobo, but heard good things.

I never knew children were allowed there. That's a good thing.

I know that it isn't local, but if you happen to be heading up towards Jasper you have got to stop in at the High Five Diner in Little Fort.
They have the most amazing burgers I have ever tried, made with local beef and buns made in a local bakery. They even make their own ketchup, available upon request
I have never had room for any desert there, but their pies look incredible.

Yeah, or the Tastee Freez, Willies Steak House, and Brownies Fried Chicken there too! If you haven't been for a while, head out there and try all of those places again.

I think Burger Baron has shut down.
I got Married because I was sick and tired of finishing my own sentences.

I haven't been since he stopped yodelling. I only went for the yodelling. Well, that and the huge portions of amazing food.

Probably the best food to be had in the region is here: http://okanaganstreetfood.com/. Diner-style setting too. Everything is so, so good.

Best hamburgers in the region since some of you brought that up are in Oyama, here: http://www.okffoods.com/contact-us/. They're probably closed for the winter now. My wife and I went on a mission over the summer and tried everyone's burger.

BNA's burger beats Train Station's burger imo.

As far as I know Woodfire did not stop calling out food orders.
